Curve all’Amatriciana
Poche cose danno la stessa sensazione di libertà che si prova seduti sopra una moto in movimento e sabato ne ho avuto una conferma. Insieme a mio cognato PietroPaolo ci siamo fatti un giretto di circa 200Km; io a bordo della mia amata California e lui a bordo della sua Suzuki Freewind 650.
Devo ammettere che siamo stati benissimo. Dopo una visita ad alcuni paesi vicini ad Acquasanta Terme abbiamo avvertito che il nostro stomaco avrebbe gradito assaggiare i famosi spaghetti all’Amatriciana e cosi, senza pensarci su, abbiamo tirato dritto fino ad Amatrice. La strada verso la patria del famoso piatto è fantastica e sentivo la mia Guzzi godere, dopo alcuni mesi in garage, nell’affrontare a buona velocità quei curvoni che andavano ad incrociarsi con il fiume Tronto e che scoprivano via via nuovi scorci dei monti della Laga ancora stupendamente innevati.
Arrivati alla meta abbiamo pranzato nel famoso Ristorante Roma, luogo apprezzato da tutti i cultori dell’Amatriciana ed anche da noi (3 porzioni a testa!!!). Dopo un pranzo di quel genere era obbligatorio prendersi il giusto tempo per la digestione. Abbiamo quindi fatto tappa nel vicino lago Scandarello (bacino artificiale ottenuto mediante lo sbarramento del rio Scandarello) e con nostra meraviglia abbiamo scoperto un luogo veramente fantastico per il panorama e per la quiete di cui si può godere (vedi foto). Certe giornate le auguro a tutti ed anzi mi auguro di passarne molte altre anche io magari con la mia vera amata … Patrizia.
